Reuben is a computational scientist with a background in AI, drug discovery, and translational medicine. At UCSF’s Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute, he was the technical lead on a whole-genome sequencing study of ~1,000 pediatric asthma patients and co-led AI-ready data harmonization for the ImmPort immunology repository. Before that, as a Data Scientist at Nephrosant, he built machine learning models for kidney disease and transplant rejection diagnostics. Most recently, he worked at InsightRX optimizing agentic and AI workflows for pharmacometric modeling, and worked as a Venture Fellow at Pier 70 Ventures. Reuben holds a Master’s in AI and Computational Drug Discovery from UCSF, a Master’s in Translational Medicine from UC Berkeley and UCSF, and a BA from UC Berkeley.
