Julia Lemberskiy, former Uber exec, serial entrepreneur & angel, joins Frontier Ventures

Frontier Ventures, a 10-year-old Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that focuses on US-based, early-stage startups with strong network effects, announced today that Julia Lemberskiy has joined the firm full time as Principal in September 2021. Mrs. Lemberskiy has over a decade of experience launching, scaling, and leading hyper-growth ventures around the world as well as investing in and supporting dozens of startups. 

Julia Lemberskiy started her startup career by founding her first own venture at age 18, growing it to the third largest couponing site in Germany. Since then, she has held various leadership roles around the world such as Head of Central Operations at Uber Works, launch manager at JUMP US, Global Venture Development Manager at Rocket Internet, Head of Marketing at multiple Rocket Internet ventures across Europe and the US (such as Global Savings Group, GoReadyMade and EatFirst), and launcher and country manager for Uber Eats Russia. 

In addition to her roles at some of the world’s fastest-growing ventures, Julia has also successfully built and grown a startup studio and consultancy for hyper-growth startups. As an angel investor and OnDeck fellow, Julia has invested in over a dozen startups. Her impact as a mentor at various incubators, advisor, and consultant has affected close to 100 startups all in all. 

Julia holds an Executive MBA, a postgraduate certificate in global management from Stanford University, a Masters in International Business, and Bachelors in Business Studies.
